Pelligrinos of Pilot Point, TX

OMG! I had the best pizza there this weekend! My husband and I were in Pilot Point Friday evening and were about to hit the live music venue at Lowbrows. We were hungry and Zac was good for eating Italian-yay! I was a little skeptical when we got there. There were no other cars and the place was deserted! The cook was the only one there at the time and he took care of us until staff started to arive. Zac ordered the angel hair pasta primevera - the vegetables were freshly cut and Zac said they tasted like his Grandma's veggies, sooo yummy! I ordered the pizza with spinach, green peppers, and black olives! One of the best pizza's I have had in awhile! I should have ordered two of these yummy concoctions - since it was only $5 more to order two! Great deal and great food, I will be back for more!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Pelligrinos!

Hot food of the week of May 13th, 2010

It has been awhile since I have posted, but let me tell you, I have tried some terrific foods!!!!!!
This week I went to Quiznos for a sandwich and my daughter ordered the pizza. The sandwich was fantastic!!!!! I ordered a regular Steakhouse! It comes with Au Jus dipping sauce kind of like a French Onion Soup. Yummy!!!!!! My daughter ordered the cheese pizza and did not like it one bit! I guess for the price, it was okay. It was on a pita crust ( I thought the crust was yummy), but they added the sliced cheese that goes on the sandwiches and it didn't melt quite good enough to pass for pizza cheese. The sauce on the pizza was so-s0. Needless to say, her meal was free anyway and she got a bag of chips and a drink out of it - KIDS EAT FREE! at the store in Denton on University Dr:) All in all, I will be back! And Madi will be eating a sandwich next time!!!!!!

Well, this weekend we went to Red Lobster! I ordered the Lobster Pizza, sounds funny doesn't it!?! Anyway, super thin crust and oh so fabulous tasting! I am not a lobster fan, but after eating this dish, I might just be! The toppings include lobster, cheese, basil, and tomatos. Not too much sauce, just perfect! Gotta try it!

HOT FOOD OF THE WEEK

Out last night and had (finally) some GARLIC FRIES! From II Charlies in Denton tx. I don't normally frequent the place, but a friend wanted to go there and dollar beers were calling my name! The garlic fries were great! They are the large wedge type. The description says parmesean, however, there was not much on the fries. Still, vedddy goooood! I am sooo happy to have found them again after Applebees took them off their menu:) Happy dance!

Hot food of the week has got to be HOT BOX's "Eve" pizza! It has the juiciest tomatoes and gobs of garlic teeming with flavor. The broccoli is an added bonus for foliage and color! It may be their best pizza yet!
